RSS After Operation Sindoor: Full Support To Forces, Zero Tolerance For Divisive Forces
Calling India’s action "just and necessary", RSS backed Operation Sindoor and urged citizens to stay alert against anti-national conspiracies aimed at disrupting harmony

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Friday issued a strong statement backing the Central government and Indian Armed Forces in the wake of Operation Sindoor — a series of precision military strikes targeting Pakistan-based terror infrastructure following the April 22 Pahalgam attack that killed 26 civilians, most of them Hindu pilgrims.
Congratulating the leadership for decisive action against “Pak-sponsored terrorists and their supporting ecosystem", the RSS said the strikes have “served justice to the aggrieved families and the entire country" and have “enhanced the morale and self-respect of the nation."

The statement, signed by RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, called the operation “necessary and inevitable for the country’s security," and pledged full support to India’s efforts to dismantle terror infrastructure and its support systems inside Pakistan.
PAKISTAN’S RETALIATION THWARTED, INDIA HITS BACK
The statement comes amid escalating tensions. On the night of May 7, hours after India struck nine terror hubs inside Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Pakistan launched missiles at Amritsar, which were successfully intercepted by India’s S-400 and Akash air defence systems. In retaliation, India targeted and destroyed Pakistan’s air defence systems in Lahore.
A day later, on the evening of May 8, Pakistan attempted a broader escalation by launching a barrage of missiles, drones, and artillery fire at multiple Indian cities along the western front. According to sources, all incoming threats were neutralised by India’s air defence systems. In a calibrated response, India struck Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Sialkot, sending a strong message of deterrence.
RSS CONDEMNS PAKISTAN’S ATTACKS ON CIVILIANS
The RSS condemned “savage, inhuman attacks" by the Pakistani army on religious sites and civilian settlements along the border, expressing “heartfelt condolences to the families of victims." The organisation reaffirmed its stance that “in this hour of national crisis, the entire country stands with the government and armed forces in spirit and action."
A CALL TO CITIZENS: STAY VIGILANT AND UNITED
Emphasising civic responsibility, the RSS urged citizens to comply fully with instructions from the government and local administration and to be alert to any attempts to disturb national unity and social harmony.
“We all have to be cautious and not let any conspiracy of anti-national forces succeed in disrupting social unity and harmony," the statement said.
The RSS also called on the public to extend support to the armed forces and civic authorities, wherever and however required, and to actively strengthen national security efforts.
