One such name is Richa Gangopadhyay, a former model and actress, who made her mark in Telugu, Tamil, and Bengali films between 2009 and 2013.

After winning Miss India Michigan and Miss India USA in 2007, Richa moved to Mumbai to study acting and made her film debut following training at Anupam Kher's Acting School.

Richa Gangopadhyay made her acting debut in the 2010 Telugu film Leader alongside Rana Daggubati. Following this, she appeared in the film Naagavalli with Venkatesh.

She then starred in the Telugu film Miraapakai with Ravi Teja. In 2011, she made her Tamil cinema debut with the film Mayakkam Enna (2011) starring Dhanush, directed by Selvaraghavan. Her performance in that film was exceptional. Her portrayal of the character Yamini remains deeply etched in the fans' memories.

She subsequently acted in another Tamil film, Osthi (2011), starring Simbu. She won fans' hearts with the song Vadi Vadi Pondatti. After that, she did not return to Tamil cinema.

She acted with Prabhas in the film Mirchi released in 2013. Her last film was Bhai with Nagarjuna, also in 2013. Following this, Richa left the film industry.

This beautiful actress, who took a break from the industry, married her boyfriend Joe Langella in 2019. In 2021, Richa and her husband welcomed a son.
