A few weeks ago, Radhika shared the first look from her film in which she is seen wearing a saree and holding a mop.

“First look at the official US Taxi Driver-inspired poster for Sister Midnight, written and directed by Karan Kandhari. Releasing theatrically in New York on May 16 at Angelika Film Centre, Los Angeles on May 23 (Nuart Theatre and Draft House LA), with additional cities to follow. While Radhika Apte has been promoting her next project with great enthusiasm, things have not been easy for the Andhadhun actress these past few months. Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Radhika Apte opened up about her personal life and pregnancy struggles, saying, “I thought maybe they wouldn’t notice the bump, but it was too big. If there were no premiere, you would probably have never known. I was never going to post saying, ‘Oh, I’m pregnant.’ I was never going to post saying, ‘Oh, we had a child.’ It’s private".

The 39-year-old actress further added, “Pregnancy is not fun. Some people have a better pregnancy; for some, it’s easier than for others. But it’s a very subjective case. Pregnancy is very hard, and bodies constantly go through very big changes. So, it’s been a hard journey. I do not wish to lie about it. It’s been very hard to prepare yourself psychologically and physically for what is coming, especially if you’re a very active person."
