Mammootty Salutes Indian Army After Operation Sindoor: 'Thank You For Restoring Hope'
Malayalam Superstar Mammootty praised the Indian Army's 'Operation Sindoor' for its strategic strike on terror infrastructure in Pakistan and PoK.
Malayalam superstar Mammootty has reacted to the Indian Army’s Operation Pakistan. On Wednesday, the actor took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle and appreciated our jawans for their brave move. He also thanked the Indian Army for restoring faith among everyone in the country.
“Salute to our Real heroes! #OperationSindoor proved again , When the nation calls, The #IndianArmy answers. Thank you for saving lives and restoring hope. You Make The Nation Proud. Jai Hind!" Mammootty wrote.

For the unversed, in the wee hours of May 7, the Ministry of Defence confirmed that the Indian Air Force had hit multiple terror infrastructure sites in PoK and Pakistan’s Bahawalpur region. The strikes, carried out from within Indian territory, were described as “measured and non-escalatory."
“The Indian Armed Forces launched ‘Operation Sindoor’, hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed. Altogether, nine sites have been targeted. Our actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature. No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. India has demonstrated considerable restraint in selection of targets and method of execution," the statement read.
Prior to this, Indian Army’s official handle also posted, “Justice is served. Jai Hind," confirming the action. Several politicians, including Union Ministers Kiren Rijiju and Bandi Sanjay Kumar, also reacted, praising the armed forces for avenging the Pahalgam victims.
Besides Mammootty, several other film stars from the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film industries also hailed the Indian Army’s operation. Earlier today, Telugu actor Allu Arjun took to his X timeline to express his views on the strike. He wrote, “May justice be served. Jai Hind #OperationSindoor". Actor Prakash Raj also took to his X handle and wrote, “Saluting our Indian Armed Forces… India will never tolerate terrorism…#JaiHind"
