Kim Soo Hyun’s Team Slams Kim Sae-ron’s Family For Sharing ‘Fake Audio’
Kim Soo Hyun criticised Kim Sae-ron’s family by claiming the voice recordings are AI-generated and the person who provided the recording was a fraud.
HoverLab and Kim Sae-ron’s family recently held a press conference where they shared a voice recording of the late actress, claiming she confessed to dating Kim Soo Hyun while in high school. The Queen of Tears actor and his agency, GOLDMEDALIST, have denied these claims several times. In response to the latest reveal, Kim Soo Hyun’s legal team, LKB & Partners Law Firm, criticised the family by claiming that the voice recordings are fake and generated using AI. They further mentioned that the person who provided the recording was a fraud, and the same individual had previously tried to give GOLDMEDALIST a different “fake recording" where Kim Sae-ron allegedly spoke positively about Kim Soo Hyun.
As per Soompi, the legal team said, “During the press conference, HoverLab asserted that they had obtained an audio recording involving the late actress Kim Sae Ron. However, this audio file is entirely fabricated. GOLDMEDALIST has determined that the recording was created using AI or similar technology. The individual who provided this audio file to HoverLab is a fraudster who also approached GOLDMEDALIST, claiming to possess a recording in which the late Kim Sae Ron made statements favourable to actor Kim Soo Hyun. The audio file provider demanded money from GOLDMEDALIST and sent a portion of the recording, which was manipulated to imitate the late Kim Sae Ron’s voice."

Kim Soo Hyun’s law firm further explained that the person who shared the voice recording never had any real connection with the late Kim Sae-ron. They said that after failing to trick GOLDMEDALIST with fake information, this person teamed up with HoverLab to release the false recording. According to them, the recording was made using AI or a similar tool to copy Kim Sae-ron’s voice. The law firm also shared that experts are now carefully checking the audio, and they plan to reveal the details once the review is complete.
The team also said that the press conference by HoverLab was another fake event. They claimed that HoverLab, which is already in trouble for defamation, stalking, cyber crimes and tampering with evidence, planned this to harm Kim Soo Hyun’s image even more. The agency believes that they used AI to create false evidence and called it a serious crime. They also mentioned that all past claims made by them were false. GOLDMEDALIST announced that they will immediately take legal action against HoverLab for breaking laws related to stalking and defamation.
