Latest update on Operation Sindoor
A day after India targetted terror hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) avenging the Pahalgam terror attack, Pakistan launched a barrage of artillery fire, drone, and missile attacks across several locations in Jammu — including a key airstrip. Security agencies reported that multiple missiles were launched from across the border, all of which were effectively neutralized by India’s S-400 air defence system.
In a swift counterattack, India deployed drones over Islamabad, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, launching precision strikes. In a significant escalation, Indian forces also downed a Pakistani F-16 fighter jet over Rajasthan, marking a decisive response to Pakistan’s unprovoked attack across Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, and Rajasthan.
