Chennai Super Kings registered a 2-wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens IPL 2025 on Wednesday. KKR put up a total of 179 runs as Ajinkya Rahane top-scored with a 48-run knock. Noor Ahmed spun magic for Chennai with a four-fer before Dewald Brevis and Shivam Dube rescued Chennai’s chase after a horrendous start to the second innings as the South African posted 52 runs, while the Indian southpaw added 45 to help CSK get over the line with 2 balls and as many wickets to spare.
