Jasprit Bumrah has won the International Cricket Council (ICC)’s men’s Player of the Month award for December.
Australia’s Annabel Sutherland won the prize in the women’s category.
It was the second such award for both the cricketers.
Bumrah had a brilliant month in 3 Tests against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
He also won the Player of the Series award for superb bowling.
Bumrah claimed 32 wickets in 5 Tests against Australia.
Bumrah has been nominated for the ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year Award.
The ace Indian pacer is also in contention for the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year.
Sutherland is in the fray for the ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year.
She is also in contention for the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy for ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year.
