‘I Was Born In This Business...’: Roman Reigns Vows Immediate Future To WWE
Reigns revealed how he will continue being a WWE star like his cousin, The Rock, amid chatter about the Tribal Chief being a part-time wrestler in the WWE.

WWE superstar Roman Reigns has vowed to remain a part of the wrestling promotion forever. There was a lot of chatter about the Tribal Chief being a part-time wrestler in the WWE. Days ahead of his Triple-Threat match at WrestleMania 41, Reigns revealed how he will continue being a WWE star like his cousin, The Rock. “[This business] is [in my blood]. There is nothing that I’ll ever do that will take me out of that position," he said in an interview with ESPN’s Daniel Cormier on YouTube. “I was born in this business, I’ll always be part of this business, similar to Dwayne [Johnson]," Reigns added.

Reigns highlighted how he was no longer just a wrestler. The Samoan emphasised his role as a parent and other things that he must take into account before making any decision. “I’m not just a wrestler, I’m not just an entertainer. I’m a husband and father as well. I have young children. There are so many different things to analyse and take into account," he said.
“I just do it year by year, two years at a time, wherever we may be with whatever contract we’re in, but I don’t want to worry about five years from now when it comes to the business," he concluded.
Reigns’ former Shield teammate, Seth Rollins, brought up the Samoan star’s status as a part-timer on the final RAW episode before WrestleMania 41. The Tribal Chief has been a huge attraction for the WWE in the modern era. This led to Reigns slowly transitioning into a special talent who would only wrestle at major live events, making limited appearances. Rollins, on the other hand, has been a full-time performer for the wrestling promotion, making regular appearances in the company’s weekly events as well.
Responding to Seth Rollins’ accusations on social media, Roman Reigns posted a video of him talking about how he wasn’t a part-timer. “It’s funny because a lot of people call me a part-timer. A lot of people got a lot of things to say about my schedule. I’m no part-timer. I’m a full-time cash cow," Reigns said on X (formerly Twitter).
As for his WrestleMania 41 bout, Roman Reigns suffered his fourth defeat at the Show of Shows on Sunday. Paul Heyman turned on his Tribal Chief and former best friend, CM Punk, allowing Seth Rollins to win the triple-threat match.
