The 41-year-old giant WWE superstar has reportedly been released by the company as part of their budget cuts.
Popular wrestler Braun Strowman has reportedly been released by the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Renowned for his towering figure and imposing physique in the ring, Strowman’s second term with the company has been brought to an end.
According to a report by Fightful Select, Strowman is one of the wrestling superstars released by the WWE owing to the company’s latest budget cuts to avoid financial stress escalations.

Strowman is certainly one of the biggest superstars fired by WWE in a decision that affects the giant wrestler and his fans, who would be massively disappointed over his release. But the report suggests he is not the only famed wrestler released by WWE among their performers inside the ring and the company’s backstage personnel.
WWE is yet to officially announce Strowman’s release, but the superstar is reportedly no longer part of the company. Fightful Select’s report said Strowman is part of a list of famous wrestlers the company has fired.
The list also features in-ring personalities such as Dakota Kai and Eddy Thorpe, apart from backstage member Ryan Pappolla, who has also been let go after being part of the company’s promotion team.
Notably, it was Strowman’s second term with WWE after he rejoined the company back in 2022 and became a key figure in the mid-card scene. Part of the WWE for a decade, Strowman had made his debut in 2015 as part of The Wyatt Family and became a top heel in his rapid rise with the company during what was a six-year initial stint that ended in 2021. Strowman restarted his association with the company a year later, before his second term was discontinued recently.
During his career, Strowman has been a part of some esteemed clashes.
After initially carrying a feud with Jacob Fatu in his second term, the 41-year-old took part in LA Knight’s US title but couldn’t win the championship. He also had a shot at the ‘The Samoan Werewolf’ in a #1 contender match for the title in a last-man-standing encounter, where he failed to come out triumphant.
