These posts come after Pakistan launched a series of aerial attacks to target Indian locations including the Jammu civil airport, Samba, RS Pura, Arnia and military stations in the region on Thursday evening. The Defence Ministry said the Pakistani military also attempted to target Awantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttarlai, and Bhuj. A blackout was imposed on all bordering cities in Rajasthan, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.
The attacks came just a day after India carried out precision strikes on terror hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir under Operation Sindoor. However, all incoming threats were successfully intercepted by India’s S-400 air defence system.
Previously, other actors and filmmakers also took to their respective social media handles to support the army and laud Operation Sindoor. Among others, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Preity Zinta, Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Rohit Shetty and Milind Soman also expressed support for the operation.
